Rally family's shock at Roberts tragedy

THE close-knit Welsh rallying fraternity has been left shaken by the weekend accident that claimed the life of Dai Roberts.
The Carmarthen co-driver died while taking part in the Jim Clark Rally in Scotland.
Driver James Williams was taken to hospital with serious though not life-threatening injuries.
The rally was called off after the crash.
Roberts was a popular and hugely experienced member of the co-driving community.
It is the second tragedy to strike his family. His younger brother Gareth - affectionately known as Jaffa - died in 2012 at the age of 24 after an accident when co-driving for Craig Breen in Sicily.
■Round two of the British Supersport Cup motorcycle championship at the Donington Part circuit brought the paddock back together following the recent tragic incident at the opening round of the series at Oulton Park.
