Race is on for Sean to scoop title

FOR old hacks like me, it’s practically in the DNA - every so often you feel the need to start a campaign.

The genesis of any good campaign starts with a passionate desire to achieve a specific aim, whether it's fighting for better health resources, a better play area down the local park or saving your local coffee shop.

This week, the campaign switch has been flicked on the annual BBC Wales Sports Personality Of The Year award and, specifically, on why leading National Hunt (NH) jockey Sean Bowen should take the prize.

The Pembrokeshire jockey is the reigning NH champion jockey and is currently leading the winners’ table with an amazing 138 wins (before racing started yesterday).
