Help needed to keep digital skills support in Wales

As a dinosaur from the analog age, I have come to appreciate how we all need to stay up to speed with matters digital.

My knowledge gaps in the new computerised digital age are regularly exposed by my four-year-old granddaughter, who can explain the buttons I need to press to work the TV remote control and my mobile phone.

Keeping pace with digital changes will form a very necessary component in the lives of young people now entering a wacky world containing artificial intelligence and other advances in computer technology.

Making sure Welsh pupils stay up to speed with digital technology education is obviously very important - which is why I was interested to take a phone call this week from my old pal Beti Williams MBE, who has played a key role in the Technocamps programme.
