Lochside death probe police searching flats 40 miles away

POLICE investigating the discovery of human remains at a lochside beauty spot have started searching a block of flats 40 miles away.

It is the latest in a series of properties to be examined since the body of Graham Wright was found a fortnight ago.

The 38-year-old, inset, had been reported missing from Glasgow several weeks earlier.

On Saturday, September 14, a walker alerted police after finding remains on the western shore of Loch Lomond.

Although Police Scotland term Mr Wright's death "unexplained" the case is being handled by the Major Incident Team, which heads up murder inquiries.

A number of lines of inquiry have been followed, including a possible link to another missing man, Lewis Cuthbert.

Yesterday, forensic officers could be seen going in and out of a building on Glasgow's southside.
