SCOTLAND have received confirmation that they have been allocated less than 4,000 tickets for each of their three World Cup group-stage matches as the backlash against “extortionate” pricing to attend the global showpiece intensified.

The SFA revealed yesterday they had been granted their Participating Member Association (PMA) allocation for each match from FIFA, along with ticket prices for each category.

Just 3,889 briefs will be available for Scotland fans for their first World Cup match in 28 years when they face Haiti in Boston Stadium on June 14, with the same allocation for the second match against Morocco at the same venue.

There will be just 3,736 tickets available to the Tartan Army for their third group-stage match against Brazil in Miami.
