Young forged a potent partnership with the former Burnley, QPR, Southampton and West Brom hitman (inset) when he netted 16 goals in 26 games on loan at Swindon from Bradford two seasons ago.
And the 24-year-old is eager to put everything he learned from the veteran scoring machine - with 315 goals in 687 career appearances - into practice for Stephen Robinson's Buddies.
Young, who was snapped up from Stevenage this month, said: “Chas was good for me. His career speaks for itself.
