A 63-YEAR-OLD woman says she has been complaining about rats and mould at her home in Rochdale every week for nearly three years.
A 63-year-old woman says she has been complaining about rats and mould at her home in Rochdale every week for nearly three years.
Lorraine Sinclair who moved into a bungalow in Wren Green in early 2023, says that rats in the attic have been 'nibbling' the felt in her roof which has been causing leaks.
The water damage has in turn left her home riddled with mould which she claims has made her ill.
Rochdale Boroughwide Housing finally moved Lorraine out her home and into a hotel on November 14 as they tried to fix the issue.
However, the 63-year-old says that the housing association only took her complaint seriously after she posted about it on Facebook.
