Health and fitness are the driving forces behind a Crowdfunder campaign which aims to create a multi-functional space at an indoor skatepark in the city.

Launched in December 2022, the Undercover Skatepark Project saw the creation of a one-of-a-kind indoor skatepark which currently resides in the former Sainsbury’s, in Commercial Road.
The skatepark, which offers lessons and roller disco events, opened after husband and wife duo, Jenna and Jacob Skinner, felt the city would benefit from an indoor space for wheeled sports.
