Phodisho Monyela, 'n 22-year-old sustainability coordinator for Limpopo at Cansa, has the primary responsibility of raising funds for research, education and support programmes through various fundraisers.
He told Polokwane Observer that his role involves organising and managing events such as the Cansa Shavathon and Relay for Life, which promote cancer awareness and support Cansa's national projects.
"These events are crucial in ensuring the sustainability of Cansa's work," he said.
