Hydrogen firms get £500k boost

A Binn Ecopark based project has been awarded £258,549
Two Perth and Kinross hydrogen energy projects will receive a combined £579,027 in grant cash.
Green Cat Hydrogen Ltd's Strathallan Hydrogen is getting £320,549 and the firm's Binn Ecopark Hydrogen £258,478.
They are among 11 projects designed to accelerate Scotland's hydrogen economy to benefit from a total of £3.4 million funding.
The Scottish Government is backing the development of green hydrogen production to reduce greenhouse gas emissions from Scotland's energy system.
The hydrogen cash will develop green hydrogen production, improve the hydrogen supply chain, and enhance hydrogen transport and storage infrastructure.
