City parks redevelopment

The City of Cape Town is calling on residents to have their say in the future of two iconic public spaces, Wynberg Park and Maynardville Park, as part of a major upgrade initiative under the City's Regional Parks Programme.

These two parks are among 15 key regional green spaces earmarked for development, and the public has until Thursday 14 May to submit comments.

The Recreation and Parks Department has developed conceptual designs for both parks, aiming to preserve their unique heritage while improving functionality, safety, and accessibility for all users.
