Flat boarded up after a 'stream of trouble'

A FLAT that had become a “hub for criminality” has been boarded up following persistent nuisance.

The property, at Queens Court, Newark, had been on the radar of Nottinghamshire Police and Newark and Sherwood District Council since January.

Repeated antisocial behaviour, drug taking, criminal damage and large gatherings of nonresidents were all reported, along with numerous concerns about noise during the night.

Thefts had also been linked to the flat.
