A BUSINESS park on part of Nuthall's green belt could create more than 1,000 jobs if plans are approved.

The development, called Nuthall Park 26, is proposed by Peveril Securities and Omnivale Pension Scheme (part of Strawson Group), and if approved would see a new logistics park built on land off Low Wood Road, Nuthall.

The planning application outlines seven new warehouses and office spaces across the site, offering over 106,000 sqm of new employment floorspace. The developers estimate that over 1,525 new jobs will be created in the process, including 305 offsite full-time equivalent jobs and 320 construction jobs.
