28 Palestine Action arrests at city protest

POLICE arrested 28 people at a protest in support of the proscribed group Palestine Action in Nottingham.

The demonstration, organised by activist group Defend Our Juries, took place at Central Library in Carrington Street yesterday afternoon and was attended by around 40 to 50 people.
An increased presence was deployed due to Palestine Action being a proscribed terror organisation, with dozens of officers in attendance.
