Marcos orders release of ₱100M for Masbate rehab

President Marcos has directed the Department of Budget and Management (DBM) to release ₱100 million in local government support fund (LGSF) to typhoon-stricken Masbate for the province's rehabilitation.
Marcos announced this before affected families in Masbate on Wednesday, Oct. 1.
"Nag-instruction din ako dahil sa request ng governor - Governor (Richard) Kho nagrequest - nag-instruct na ako sa DBM bago ako umalis ng Maynila na mag-download ng ₱100 million na LGSF para mayroon kayong immediate na magamit na para sa pag-rehabilitation (I also gave instructions because of the governor's request-Governor Kho requested it-so I instructed the DBM, before I left Manila, to download ₱100 million from the LGSF so that you will have immediate funds to use for rehabilitation)," Marcos said.
Marcos also assured the affected families of sustained assistance, saying various government agencies have been mobilized to help them.
