Miss Universe 2025 Fatima Bosch of Mexico has pledged to retain her crown, asserting that she won the pageant with a purpose.

In her first interview as Miss Universe 2025, Fatima addressed rumors that she was stepping down amid controversy.
"I will not step away from this crown because I really worked hard to be here. I am not here for fame, modelling, or searching for a husband. I am here because God put a purpose in my heart. I have a mission, and I will do it the whole year to serve others," she said, during an interview for "Nightline" on ABC News on Dec. 2.
The 25-year-old beauty queen also denied rumors that her father, an industrial engineer, influenced her victory in the Miss Universe pageant held in Thailand on Nov. 21.
"This is really crazy how the world works. They make this campaign of hate. My father has nothing to do with the organization. It is crazy that you are going to buy a crown. Not in Miss Universe for sure," Fatima also said.
