CAMP OLIVAS, Pampa nga More than 12,000 police officers from the Police Re gional Office-3 (PRO-3) have been deployed across various polling pre cincts in Central Luzon as part of intensi fied security preparations for the May 12 midterm elections.
In a statement on Wednesday, PRO-3 said the deployment, which began on Sun day, includes personnel not only from local police stations but also from provincial and regional headquarters.
"This widespread mobilization of our personnel is part of our mandate to guar antee a safe, free, and accountable elec tion," PRO-3 chief Police Brig. Gen. Jean Fajardo said.
