Youngsters ready to take on 25km of tough terrain

YOUNGSTERS will hike 25km of tough terrain to raise money on behalf of their teacher, who has been diagnosed with motor neurone disease.

Children in year five at Dean Valley Primary, in Bollington, will walk to Pyms Chair and along Cats Tor and Shining Tor before returning to school on June 21.
When in year four they were taught by popular Rob Hasler, who received his diagnosis in October 2024.
The pupils will donate money to raise for both him and his family as they continue to face life with the condition.
Rob said: "Since being diagnosed with motor neurone disease (MND), I've been surrounded by warmth and kindness from everyone at Dean Valley.
