Gena's hospital fundraising put to good use

A FORMER patient who has raised more than £59,000 for Macclesfield Hospital visited to look at how the money has been used.

Gena Moors visited the breast cancer unit, where she received treatment for the condition, to see the new ultrasound machine.

It has been bought using cash she raised with events including two Splash of Pink balls at Shrigley Hall.

The visit took place during Breast Cancer Awareness Month and was a chance for Gena to see how the equipment she provided will support earlier and more accurate diagnoses.
