GREETINGS my wonderful friends. Well, well, well, who would have thought it?

After years of ignoring the wishes of the people and the numerous experts who have repeatedly warned of the devastating impact on the environment of bulldozing Danes Moss the message has finally got through.

Despite committing £3.283m of borrowed money, which must now be repaid, Cheshire East has accepted that Danes Moss will, as it stands, not go ahead. For Tom Eccles from the Danes Moss protest group and all the others that have given their time and energy to highlight this unwanted development, CEC has finally seen the light.

As Winston Churchill said: “This is not the end but is perhaps, the beginning of the end.”

So...where does this take us? Maybe the first step would be for CEC to recognise councils can no longer ignore the wishes of the people.
