Woman 'was attacked then driven away'

Police appeal for help to locate 'victim'

A POLICE investigation was underway yesterday into reports a woman was attacked by men in a car park then driven away from the scene in the early hours.

Detectives said they wanted to ‘identify and locate’ her to make sure she’s safe ‘as a priority’.

Police said they were first alerted by a member of the public, who said they saw the woman being assaulted on Maher Gardens, in Old Trafford, on Wednesday, at around 12.20am.

The report claimed three men were involved and it happened in a car park area off the street.
