Jason: Giving £2 is just the ticket for new cinema appeal

COMEDIAN Jason Manford is the latest celebrity to pledge his support to a charity appeal to build a new cinema for hospitals.

In a plea issued on the Salford-born star's Instagram account, he called on everyone in Manchester to give £2 to help hit the appeal's target by Christmas.

The appeal to raise £1.1m to build a new MediCinema in Manchester was launched this month by Manchester Foundation Trust Charity, which raises funds for Manchester University NHS Foundation Trust's family of 10 hospitals.
