Police appeal for public's help as they launch murder probe and manhunt
A MURDER probe has been launched and one man arrested after a 32-year-old man died in a suspected shooting in broad daylight in east Manchester yesterday afternoon.
Emergency services were scrambled to the area around Welland Street in Openshaw at around 2pm, where the man was sadly pronounced dead.
Officers believe he died from gunshot wounds in what they are calling a 'targeted attack, and are appealing to members of the public for more information.
Additional police officers have been deployed in the area as detectives continue to investigate the shooting.
