City sweating over Rodri knock after bad tackle in final

PEP Guardiola is hopeful Rodri's injury after a poor tackle against Fluminense won't be too serious after seeing his face during the celebrations at winning the Club World Cup final.
But the Spaniard will be assessed in the next few days ahead of the trip to Everton on December 27 after suffering a right knee injury in a tackle from Aleksander during the final in Jeddah.
The 27-year-old was fit enough to return to the podium to collect the Golden Ball trophy for the tournament's best player and he also took a full part in City's celebrations on the pitch at the King Abdullah Sports City Stadium.
