Fans can get back to Beatles studies
FANS of The Beatles will be able to get a Masters degree on the Fab Four again with a course that will be open to people across the world.
The University of Liverpool began offering the part-time MA, called The Beatles: Music Industry and Heritage, in 2021 but the course was not available in the last academic year.
However, the university has announced that the course will return soon - and this time around, it will be an online degree.
Launching in September 2026, the university says the course will examine the enduring cultural and economic impact of the band on Liverpool and the surrounding City Region.
Students will consider how the legacy of John Lennon, Paul McCartney, George Harrison and Ringo Starr continue to impact areas such as urban planning and regeneration, civic design, heritage, and the tourism and leisure industries, as well as the music and creative industries.
