LIMPAR LIKES WHAT HE SEES ON THE BLUES' LEFT SIDE
Jack Grealish celebrates his winner against Crystal Palace last Sunday
JACK Grealish is “an unbelievable player” who “helps the whole Everton team.”
That's the verdict of Blues FA Cup hero Anders Limpar, who was part of the club’s last trophy-winning side when they defeated Alex Ferguson's Manchester United in the 1995 final.
Grealish netted his first goal for Everton when he struck a dramatic stoppage-time winner to complete a 2-1 comeback victory over Crystal Palace on Sunday to deny Oliver Glasner’s side from extending their unbeaten run to 20 matches.
Limpar though is a fan of the 30-year-old’s all-round play, though. The former Sweden international told the ECHO: “I've always liked Jack Grealish. Just because you're on the bench at a team like Manchester City, it doesn’t mean that you're a bad player.
“Jack is an unbelievable player. What I like about him is that he’s so comfortable on the ball and it helps the whole Everton team, taking the ball up the pitch, so the other members of the team can rest.
“It's very important to have a player like that. You can see that the whole team is playing really good football now because they are more confident.
