FORMER Everton midfielder Darron Gibson has urged Manchester United to end their pursuit of Blues target Liam Delap.

Gibson, a Premier League winner with the Red Devils who spent five years at Goodison Park after leaving his boyhood club, believes it would be a mistake for club and player if the striker ended up at Old Trafford.
