Reform MP said TV 'full of black & Asian people'

APOLOGY AFTER REMARKS TO VIEWER BRANDED UNACCEPTABLE

A MERSEYSIDE Reform UK MP has apologised over remarks she made on a TV show about black and Asian people.

Runcorn and Helsby’s Sarah Pochin has been criticised for “unacceptable” comments after saying, “It drives me mad when I see adverts full of black people, full of Asian people.”

Ms Pochin, who was elected in a by-election in May when she beat Labour's candidate, Karen Shore, by six votes, was responding to a viewer on TalkTV who complained about advertising.

The MP said the viewer was “absolutely right” and “it drives me mad when I see adverts full of black people, full of Asian people.”
