‘Ludicrous’ to criticise Pickford, says Kilbane

CRITICISM of Jordan Pickford is “ludicrous” while Everton and Jack Grealish are “a match made in heaven" according to former Blues winger Kevin Kilbane.

Despite being England number one for almost eight years now, Pickford's position with the Three Lions continues to be questioned by some.

While during Sunday's game at Hill Dickinson Stadium, Crystal Palace fans tried to big up their own Dean Henderson with an ‘England's number one chant’.

But when the Everton keeper acknowledge them, they were quickly silenced in the knowledge that their player is just one of several understudies to have fluffed his lines when given the chance to deputise.
