TRANMERE boss Andy Crosby believes his side must find a solution to conceding late goals if they wish to be in the hunt for promotion.

The Whites led Newport County for much of Saturday's game, taking the lead through Jayden Joseph, before Courtney Baker-Richardson levelled in the 87th minute.

Rovers have now dropped seven points from winning positions in the last 10 minutes so far this season, and Crosby insists they have to address the problem.

He said: “We need to find out the reasons why we're conceding goals so late on. It’s never usually just one thing, but we can’t continue dropping the points we've already lost if we want to be successful.

“The amount we're conceding late on is costing us vital points and it’s something that we have to solve.”
