I'm still working way back to full fitness - Isak

ALEXANDER ISAK says he is still working up towards 100% fitness after the Liverpool striker made his second Premier League start for his new club in Saturday's 2-1 defeat to Chelsea.

Isak completed a £125m move from Newcastle United on transfer deadline day on September 1 but did not have a preseason schedule at St James' Park as a result of how his acrimonious switch to Anfield played out.

After an injury kept him off Newcastle's tour of the Far East in July, Isak trained at former club Real Sociedad without the permission of the Magpies' hierarchy before being made to work alone when he returned to Tyneside ahead of his eventual British-record move.
