Callum v Morrell to kick off 2026

MATCHROOM chief Eddie Hearn has revealed that Callum Smith is set to take on David Morrell at the start of next year.
It was confirmed in August that Smith has been ordered to defend his WBO ‘interim’ light-heavyweight title against Morrell.
And Hearn has revealed that following talks with Turki Alalshikh, the fight is likely to take place on a Saudi Arabia show early next year.
He said: “I talked to Turki Alalshikh about staging that fight as part of a Saudi card in early 2026.
