FAMILY SCARED TO LEAVE NAN AFTER LIVING ROOM WINDOWS SMASHED

- By MEGAN BANNER

AN 82-year-old great-nan has had a brick thrown through her living room window on two separate occasions.

Less than two weeks ago Carol was sitting in her living room at home in Wallasey watching TV when a brick came hurtling through her window, narrowly missing her.

This incident, shortly after 8.20pm on November 2, was the second time she was “terrified” after a brick came crashing into her living room.

On September 24, she had “just put Home and Away on the TV” when a brick was thrown through her window at around 6.15pm.

Police confirmed it received reports and said it believes the incidents are cases of mistaken identity.

Her granddaughter Danielle, 37, from Walton, told the ECHO how the attacks have terrified the whole family.

She said: “My nan has lived in that house for 52 years, my grandad died in their house, she has had all her kids, grand kids and great-grand kids come to the house and nothing has ever happened like this before, until now.

“It’s so sad, she is an 82-year-old woman.
