'All we want is to protect the last green space'

CONCERN ABOUT THE LOSS OF WILDLIFE HABITAT

PLANS for 70 homes in Lincoln should not result in the loss of all the area's green space, residents say. The former quarry on Riseholme Road has become a wildlife haven since work stopped, according to local people.

Although the site isn’t open to the public, they want to maintain some natural space for animals and trees.

The application to build on the site by Lindum Homes, in partnership with the cathedral, will be decided by Lincolnshire County Council next week.
