Boss facing anxious wait during break

LEICESTER City will hope their international stars do not pick up any injuries over the next fortnight with nine players already doubtful for the clash with high-flying Stoke.

Ben Nelson (ankle) and Caleb Okoli (shoulder) were both substituted off with injuries during the 2-1 victory over Norwich and may not be involved when City return to club action on Saturday, November 22.

There will be particular concern over Nelson, who was stretchered off after an awkward landing in which he twisted his right ankle.

Manager Marti Cifuentes said there was “immediate swelling” and the centre-back will require scans this week to determine the extent of the problem.
