Warning as parents seen walking child on railway

A TOURIST attraction has issued a warning after two adults were pictured walking with a child and two dogs along a train track. Foxfield Railway shared a photo of the trio meandering down the line in North Staffordshire last week.

While their trains only have a top speed of 15mph, the attraction pointed out that walking on the tracks is 'dangerous' and sets a 'bad example.

Writing on social media, Blythe Bridge-based Foxfield Railway said: "We know we're only a little railway running through some Staffordshire countryside, but we're very proud of being able to do that very safely. Taking your child and dog for a stroll down our railway doesn’t help us.
