Appeal to help girl who suffers hundreds of seizures a day

A two-year-old Preston girl who suffers hundreds of epileptic seizures everyday is the focus of an urgent new fundraising appeal.
Hannah Smith and Paul Etherington, who live in Cottam and are both originally from Bilsborrow, are desperately searching for private medical solutions for their daughter, Elsie, who suffers from a debilitating condition called infantile spasms.
This is a serious form of epilepsy which causes Elsie to have several clusters of seizures each day, with each one potentially lasting up to 10 minutes.
She also has seizures in her sleep, meaning she suffers with hundreds every day.
