This week’s spending review marks a turning point for Scotland.

Labour's manifesto promise to stabilise the economy has been delivered enabling the largest funding settlement for Scotland since devolution began. This is the difference a Labour government makes putting an end to Tory austerity and delivering for the Scottish people.

Over the next three years, an additional £9.1 billion will be sent to Holyrood with the intention that it should be invested in Scottish public services.
That's more money than ever before. I want to see it spent to improve our NHS, our schools, our housing, and our policing, to deliver the vital services that families across East Ayrshire rely on. The SNP and John Swinney have no more excuses!
