Killie gaffer in discussions at Tynecastle

Hearts have approached Derek McInnes for their vacant managerial position - but the 53-year-old is set to lead Killie into tonight's (Wednesday) game against Motherwell.

McInnes is in discussions to take over at Tynecastle after they made an official approach to Kilmarnock on Monday afternoon but it's understood that McInnes will remain in charge for the trip to Fir Park.

Should McInnes elect to move on, a deal may not be concluded before Sunday's clash between the sides, although Hearts are understood to be keen to have everything done and dusted before then.
