Lewis Fergusons ignite World Cup fever in Kilmarnock

Two Kilmarnock lads have kicked off local celebrations ahead of the World Cup.

Both aptly named Lewis Ferguson - like one of Scotland's top midfielders - the football mad Asda workers launched the countdown to the national team's return to the global stage.

One Asda Lewis, who works part-time in the click and collect team, graduated last week from the University of Glasgow with a degree in Sports Science, with dreams of working in football.

The 21-year-old said: "I've played football all my life and while I never quite made it to Scotland's First 11, I'm 100% behind the team. Good luck to all the Scottish players - especially Lewis Ferguson - from all of us at Asda!"
