Kilmarnock got the 2025/26 season up and running in fine fashion thanks to a 2-0 away win over Brora Rangers in the Premier Sports Cup.

Stuart Kettlewell, a former Brora player and assistant manager, returned to his old stomping ground and picked up the points in his first competitive match as Killie boss.

And there were goals in either half for youngster Ben Brannan and Dutch striker Djenairo Daniels while keeper Eddie Beach made a couple of smart saves to keep a clean sheet.
