Independence will stop UK Government cash grab

I know we argue about numbers and money every day but this one is an easy one to spot.

UK Labour has decided that only 0.8 per cent of an uplift is coming to Scotland while an average 1.5 per cent of an uplift is going to other UK departments.

The difference is £1.1billion and remember, this is Scottish taxpayers’ money being diverted to support other departments elsewhere in the UK.

Just think what more we could do if our own taxpayers hard earned cash stayed here in Scotland. It could help us lift more kids out of poverty and help our pensioner and disabled people much more.

This is one of the many costs of the union but independence will stop this cash grab once and for all.
