Talented young tennis players court success in schools finals

THE LTA Youth Schools Division Two Finals took place last week, showcasing a fantastic display of skill and sportsmanship from schools across the region.

There were two competitions, one for children in school years 7 and 8 and one for years 9 and 10. The boys' and girls' finals took place at the Kings School in Canterbury.
All finals were played in a box league between five or six schools with the teams coming in first and second place received the winner's gold medals and the runners-up silver medals.
The girls were up first on Tuesday. There were five teams in the girls' 7/8 finals which consisted of Bromley High (A), Walthamstow Hall (Sevenoaks), Weald (Maidstone), Sutton Valence (Maidstone), Bromley High (B).
