WHITE LIGHTNING READY TO STRIKE

KERRY captain Gavin White is one of seven players from the Dr Crokes club on the Kingdom squad heading into Sunday's All-Ireland final against Donegal.

Charlie Keating is injured, but White, Tony Brosnan, Micheál Burns, Evan Looney and Shane Murphy should all be in the match-day panel. As will midfielder Mark O'Shea.

O'Shea never played minor or under-20 in the green and gold, but his club form in 2024 put him on Jack O'Connor's radar.

With Barry Dan O'Sullivan out with a cruciate knee ligament injury, and Diarmuid O'Connor plagued by shoulder trouble, O'Shea has stepped up to the plate.

"Yeah, it's a credit to him.

"In fairness, if you told the man this time last year he'd be potentially lining out for an All-Ireland final in midfield starting, I'm not sure if he would have believed you," said White.

"He's really stepped up through the gears this year.
