Tragic road crash dads to be laid to rest in days

A DAD-OF-FIVE who became the first road death victim of the New Year in the Republic will be laid to rest on Thursday.

Francis Kelly, 36, died after a three-vehicle smash, which involved two cars and a van on the N4 in Edgeworthstown in Longford, on Saturday evening.
After reposing, Mr Kelly will be taken to St Mary's Church in Granard tomorrow. His funeral mass will take place the following day at 12pm.
He will then be buried in Granardkille Cemetery.
