ONLY three players in the League of Ireland are older than Rory Gaffney, but the Shamrock Rovers ace has no intention of slowing down.

Certainly not when the 35-year-old is making up for lost time having missed virtually all of last season because of a serious ankle injury.

Only Brendan Clarke, Padraig Amond and Greg Bolger have more miles on the clock, and Gaffney has revealed the secrets of his longevity at the top level of Irish football. Clean living, little or no booze and video nasties!
