'Lake County' Westmeath adds €6.2m jackpot to string of recent Lotto wins

THERE must be something in the water in Co Westmeath as the Lake County is celebrating the biggest in a string of remarkable Lotto wins in recent days.

The National Lottery has announced that a lucky player from there has just become Ireland's newest millionaire, claiming a whopping €6,241,505 in Wednesday's Lotto Jackpot draw.

The store that sold the winning Lotto Jackpot ticket has been revealed as Eason's on Pearse Street in Mullingar.
