Sancho to Roma deal KO

ROMA have pulled the plug on a €23m deal for Jadon Sancho.

The Italian giants were keen on the Manchester United misfit (below) but, after becoming frustrated with negotiations, have moved to sign Aston Villa's Leon Bailey instead.

Sancho (25) is surplus to requirements at Old Trafford and a €23m deal had been agreed between United and Roma for a loan, with an obligation to buy.

But Sancho's €290,000 -a-week wages became a major sticking point as the winger did not want to take a financial hit.
