Emery will make me a better player

ASTON VILLA’s €35million new boy Evann Guessand insists his best is yet to come — and has pinpointed Unai Emery as key to luring him to Villa Park.

The versatile Ivory Coast forward has joined on a five-year deal from Nice, where he scored 12 goals last season, after being closely tracked by the Midlands club over the last year.

Villa have paid an initial €30m with a potential further €5m in add-ons to land the 24-year-old, who is confident working under ex-Paris Saint-Germain boss Emery can help him reach new heights.
