Having steadied the ship brilliantly at Parkhead during his return to the helm, O'Neill was replaced last week by new permanent manager Wilfried Nancy.

Since then, Celtic have slumped to successive home defeats, in hugely important fixtures beaten by Hearts in the league, and crushed by Roma in the Europa League on Thursday.

Of course, it's foolish and premature to be writing off the new boss at this early stage, but Nancy is now under immense pressure tomorrow with a trophy on the line at Hampden Park.
